Another bunch of ideas

 I have had figures for a 15mm Italian Wars Army for a long time, but never found the exact rules and motivation to really get some use out them.  I am hoping that that blockage might be behind me for a at least a while.  

In this blog I will be looking at how to use Art de la Guerre (ADLG) and an as yet unspecified set of skirmish and campaign rules to give a satisfying strategic game.

Step one, however, will be assembly of my existing 15mm figures into armies.

The exact period I am interested in is 1503-1525 -- the ascension of Julius II as pope to the Battle of Pavia.  Although there is still lots of fun to have in later periods like the war of 1521-1526 which saw the end of the Florentine Republic.  But one must start somewhere.
